Charles Dickens (Landport, 1812 - Gad’s Hill, 1870) è considerato il piú grande romanziere dell’epoca vittoriana. Tra le sue opere Le avventure di Oliver Twist, Il circolo Pickwick, David Copperfield e Grandi speranze.
